monsignor geary apartments

Buffalo, 2010

This project consisted of replacing portions of the building’s façade with new, technologically superior products to obtain more energy efficiency while transforming the exterior appearance. We chose an insulated aluminum sandwich panel with a two-color combination of copper on the verticals and green on the horizontal elements at the balconies for both its aesthetic and energy-saving properties. All windows were replaced with energy-efficient windows specifically designed for use in high-rise buildings. These new construction components will provide the Buffalo Municipal Housing Authority with cost savings for many years.
