SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENT: CWM Promotes Senior Associate to Partner

The Partners of Carmina Wood Morris, DPC (CWM) are pleased to announce they will be adding a new member to their leadership team; Michael R. Bray, RA joined the firm in 2001, just after it's inception and will now hold the title of Partner. He has been an important part of the firm from the very beginning, starting out as lead Draftsman and helping to grow and identify the firm as an upstanding company in Western New York. He has played an integral role in many of the firms marque projects, most recently Hyatt Place, Niagara Falls; Salvatore's Boutique Hotel The Delavan; The Seneca Nation's William Seneca Building; 100 South; and Batavia City Hall. In this position, Michael will continue to lead the firm through improvements in project implementation while maintaining his role as a primary designer in the firm for a diverse range of projects. He joins Steven J. Carmina, AIA; R. Christopher Wood, PE; Jonathan H. Morris, AIA; and Pamela Timby-Straitiff, CID IIDA as the newest stockholder. Recently featured in Business First regarding Buffalo's revitalization, Mike stated "I always like to say that art is architecture with boundaries. Obviously you get to be creative but you also have to follow the rules of gravity."

Happy Birthday to Danielle Johnson & Giona Paolercio from our Architecture Department!

The National Trust for Historic Preservation recently published an editorial featuring our labor of love that was the LAPC Lofts project. Check it out here:

In December and January, CWM sponsored skating lessons for kids in school through Buffalo Place's Rotary Rink! We hope the kids skate better than some of our employees! ;-)
