545 Swan Street, Buffalo, 2015

We partnered with KCG Development on this $1.5 Million redevelopment project to convert the former A&P Warehouse at 545 Swan Street into 147 one and two bedroom market-rate apartments. Included amenities are indoor parking, fitness center, business center, and an outdoor "green" community space. The team worked together to figure out a way to get more natural sunlight in the middle of the building. The end result was cutting a hole slab, by slab in floors three through to the roof without taking any of this historic makeup away from the building. The 8-story concrete block structure is a 238,000SF facility and was once owned by Great Atlantic & Pacific Tea Company.
